This role is essential for maintaining an orderly and safe environment during meal times and transitions.
What You'll Be Doing: (Responsibilities)
- Student Supervision & Support:
- Assist children when entering the cafeteria during their lunch period in an orderly fashion.
- Receive children from the classroom teachers for the lunch period.
- Make sure each child receives utensils, milk, juice, and other supplies.
- Assure that children empty their trays when finished.
- Assure the children line up for recess or next activity at the appointed time.
- Assist as needed or instructed by the Administrator.
- Cafeteria Management:
- Must report 30 minutes prior to the first lunch session and remain 30 minutes after the last session to ensure the cleanliness and order of the cafeteria.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma
- Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with teachers, students, and administrators.
