Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance is the largest, independently owned orthopedic specialty practice in the Kansas City metro area. We have over 50 medical providers practicing out of five locations. Each team focuses on the importance of customer service, communication, and caring for patients. We offer no weekends, no holidays or mandatory on call.
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist who is looking for work life balance and a dynamic working environment. If you're looking to work side by side in a practice setting with the Physicians and Physician Assistants, then this position is for you. Our practices offer a busy, challenging, and exciting work environment. We have 5 locations in the KC Metro area, and radiology supports 4 of these locations. Some of our staff float and travel between locations. Practice schedules are generally Monday-Friday; 7:00am-4:30pm.
Job Function:
The Radiologic Technologist is a trained medical professional performing radiological duties in compliance with regulatory and departmental requirements. The duties of the Radiologic Technologist vary from setting to setting, depending on the size, location, and type. The Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic exams, ordered by the physician, which are technically satisfactory, properly positioned and processed adequately. All exams must be performed using the ALARA principle to minimize radiation dose to the patient.
