Summary

Interfaces with and provides quality control inspection to engineering.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs visual, mechanical and/or electrical inspection of parts, subassemblies, completed assemblies, production processes, final inspections, and acceptance tests on internally and externally manufactured items.
- Operates computers, connects test cables, may perform troubleshooting, and follows detailed inspection/test instructions.
- Performs in-process reviews during the assembly process as specified in a record of assembly.
- Participates in the establishment of in-process and final quality control and inspection criteria methods for acceptance for the final product.
- Ensures control of product per required documentation, forms, numbering, labeling, and assessment of tightly controlled items and applicable training.
- Observes the use and handling requirements of explosives and other hazardous materials.
- Improves and refines existing fixtures, measurement and test equipment, methods, process steps, procedures, implementing changes as necessary. Evaluates drawings for correctness of product acceptance.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time (job description and job posting)
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- 5 years of experience as a technician, engineer, or equivalent technical manufacturing position.
- United States Citizenship
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability in decision making, organizing, and problem solving.
- 2 years of technical training obtained in the military/formal educational institution or equivalent technical experience
