Summary
The App Development Analyst I is responsible for application analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, maintenance, and technical/software support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Works directly with business customers and technical teams on assigned requests related to Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software applications.
- Stays up to date with application releases, adjacent relevant technology, and industry best practices.
- Performs functional tests/demonstrates understanding of how functionality supports business processes.
- Collaborates with technical teams and customers to improve software functionality.
- Participates in code reviews, quality assurance activities, and practices fundamental Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes.
- Contributes to knowledge sharing and documentation.
- Applies application patches and/or collaborates with other teams to ensure applications are patched against known vulnerabilities.
- Bachelors degree, certification, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelors or certification
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- Experience with M365 SharePoint, Power Platform, and Copilot.
- Experience with COTS Applications (i.e. Jira, Confluence, OpenText, etc.).
- Industry knowledge of manufacturing, government, and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
- Demonstrated initiative to maintain technical currency through outside studies and training.
