What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Internal Life Sales Specialist position at Kansas City Life Insurance?
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, and at least 4 years of life insurance sales preferred.
2. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and a good understanding of the insurance environment from a company and/or agency perspective.
3. Should be highly flexible, autonomous and able to adapt well to change.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work with the territory partner (Life Sales Specialist) to help design and support territory planning, management and contact planning for the overall execution in an assigned region. This includes but is not limited to Group Meetings, Agency meetings and Agent meetings that support the direction and goals set forth by the company.
2. Contribute to the building of successful relationships by communicating with the agents in the assigned territory to provide ongoing support, training and servicing of that agent’s business, from the home office. Gather field intelligence and distribute updated information from the home office to the targeted agents in the field by using outbound phone calls, inbound phone calls and other methods of communication.
3. Recommend improvements/solutions regarding life production issues to Internal Life Sales Manager & Sales Specialist, promote life incentive programs to agents and our P&C partners, assist with implementation of telemarketing campaigns and promotions, occasionally assist Life Sales Specialists (LSS) in covering meetings with agents, marketing assistance and sales troubleshooting.
4. Assist Life Internal Manager & Sales Specialist with the development, implementation, promotion, tracking and administration of Life Company incentive programs. Also assist the Life Internal Manager & Sales Specialist with regular tasks such as reporting, call campaign design and execution.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
