Position Summary:
The expressive therapist reports to their designated team manager. The position provides services to patients/families by assessing, developing, and implementing a Music or Art Therapy Plan of Care, which is coordinated with the Interdisciplinary Team.

- Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., NO ON CALL, NO WEEKENDS!

Position Summary:
The expressive therapist reports to their designated team manager. The position provides services to patients/families by assessing, developing, and implementing a Music or Art Therapy Plan of Care, which is coordinated with the Interdisciplinary Team.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:
- Completion of all course work and internship for Bachelor's or Master's degree at a college or
university accredited by the American Music therapy Association. - Current board certification from the Certification Board for Music therapists.
- Licensed driver with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
- Minimum of one-year experience in both the acute care and home care settings is preferred.
- Ability to work with patients and their caregivers in a home setting giving full respect to their wishes.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all members of Interdisciplinary Teams.
- Excellent skills in listening and communicating with patients/families to assist them in processing
memories and emotions evoked by musical experiences. - Good computer and technology skills.
