kcai graphic design is seeking a ux-focused designer to teach one 5-week workshop-style module for our “interaction inquiry” course. this junior-senior six-credit course examines the broad implications of “interaction” through physical and digital ux/ui processes and principles in both commercial and civic contexts.

workshop 1: aug 25 to sept 25

workshop 2: sept 28 to oct 30

workshop 3: nov 2 to dec 11
classes meet M W F 8–10:50am, F 12:30–3:20
total weekly hours in-class: 12
plus project prep, grading, etc. outside of class.

9 students [8 seniors, 1 junior], all first-time interaction students. all have had at least one project about the ux design process and have used figma to prototype at a basic level.

i will work with you and two other workshop instructors, coordinating to develop a cohesive and creative three-part semester, based on past projects, with new input and ideas from you.
we have all course policies in place for you to follow, and a syllabus boilerplate that i will help you finalize for the class. i can work with you on how to grade the work, offer advice, answer questions, etc, as needed.
i want to make this as easy and fun as possible, and am open to your input on what you need to make things happen.
compensation
$2,667 per 5-week module
