Nurse Educator
Kansas City Allergy and Asthma Associates is looking for a Nurse Educator who enjoys teaching, coaching, and supporting clinical teams in an outpatient clinic setting. This role focuses on educating and developing staff, working closely with our care team made up of Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Medical Assistants (MAs).
The Nurse Educator supports onboarding and ongoing education related to allergy and asthma care, tailoring training to different roles, experience levels, and scopes of practice. Using performance data and team feedback, you'll help improve training approaches, strengthen workflows, and support safe, consistent, high-quality patient care.
Kansas City Allergy and Asthma Associates has been caring for patients since 1979, with offices conveniently located in Overland Park, Olathe and Lee's Summit.
What You'll Do
- Train and support RN, LPN, and MA staff in an allergy and asthma practice
- Provide onboarding and ongoing education related to clinical skills, workflows, and best practices
- Adapt training to fit different roles and scopes of practice
- Use metrics and performance data to guide education and motivate staff growth
- Gather feedback from staff and leaders to continually improve training and workflows
- Serve as a coach, mentor, and trusted clinical resource for the care team
What We're Looking For
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience educating, training, or mentoring clinical staff
- Interest or experience in allergy and asthma care (preferred, not required)
- Comfortable using data and feedback to improve performance
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, supportive approach
Salary : $33 - $38
