Position Summary:
This position supports a variety of responsibilities and projects within Kansas Athletics Development (KAD), including but not limited to football hospitality operations, donor cultivation and stewardship, gameday and travel support, and special events.
The role also provides general office support during regular business hours, assists additional development staff, and oversees KAD social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram).
Duties and Responsibilities of this Position:

Lead all regular season away travel operations, including hotel management, detailed itinerary development, and coordination with campus partners, leadership, team personnel, and the Director of Operations;

Provide football and baseball operational support, including special events, staffing, hospitality operations, game-day itineraries, suite communications (in coordination with campus partners and suite holders), and postseason travel/events;

Support donor relations efforts by developing donor bios; educating donors on priority points, select-a-seat, parking, memberships, and benefits; and co-leading Rising Jayhawks, Young Alumni, and scholar programs alongside the Annual Fund;

Assist in stewardship initiatives, including inventory management, tracking, ordering, and oversight of branded materials and promotional items.

Assist with ticket applications, pledges, and required documentation, including coordination with internal teams and accurate tracking, proofing, and verification of donor and gift processing materials;

Promote and market KAD through events, receptions, and game-day activations, while coordinating digital marketing efforts in partnership with Communications and maintaining calendars, updates, and forms;

Manage and oversee KAD social media accounts and website updates to increase brand awareness and engagement;

Provide direct oversight of KAD/Bullpen/Phones operations and general office support, including donor gift processing assistance, mail distribution, visitor reception, and administrative support to staff;

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics, or other designee.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and various digital devices, including, but not limited to: cell phone, printer, copy machine, and other related devices. This job requires flexibility and adaptability in schedule and the ability to perform job related duties on short notice.

Occasional travel may occur for this position.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work will vary based on the needs of the department and as job duties demand. Early morning, evening and weekend work maybe required.

Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management or closely related field;

Ability to work well both independently and in collaboration with staff as a team member;

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and time management;

Demonstrated ability to work effectively under multiple, strict deadlines in a fast-paced office environment with the capacity to adapt quickly to major and minor changes in projects and outcomes;

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;

Ability and willingness to work an irregular schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;

Experience and knowledge of existing social media platforms (Facebook, X, etc.);

Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA rules;
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Paciolian / Salesforce software systems or other data management systems;

Experience with Excel and Microsoft Suite Products;

Previous experience in a collegiate athletics department, professional sports program or closely related organization.
