Staff Attorney
The Kansas Association of School Boards is accepting applications for a full-time, experienced staff attorney to represent school boards in employment, student discipline, and special education cases, along with developing and delivering school law seminar presentations and writing policy and legal publications. This full-time hybrid work position requires the ability to travel frequently throughout Kansas, attend evening school board meetings and provide a variety of other legal services to local boards of education.
Applicants with 2 to 3 years’ experience in private practice, municipal or school law or other comparable legal experience are preferred. The ability to multi-task, work efficiently in an environment with frequent interruptions and prioritize higher time to respond to member legal requests in a timely manner is essential.
