Pouch Operator

What You'll Do

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot pouch filling machines to ensure safe and efficient production
• Follow daily production schedules based on product needs
• Adjust machine settings to ensure proper filling, sealing, and packaging
• Perform in-process quality checks (e.g., temperature, pressure, fill volume)
• Maintain aseptic conditions to ensure product safety and quality
• Complete production logs, batch records, and quality documentation accurately
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sanitation and equipment operation
• Communicate production or quality issues to supervisors and team leads
• Collaborate with Quality and Production teams to meet food safety and regulatory standards
• Support other operational areas as needed to maintain production flow
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functionality

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 6–12 months of food manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work with Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
• Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated or warm production areas
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability, accountability, and integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent climbing of stairs and ladders
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, and handling tasks
• Visual acuity including close, distance, and depth perception

The Schedule & Setting

• Shift- 10p-6a
• Full-time position in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
• Schedule may include various shifts, weekends, and overtime based on production needs
• Work performed in an indoor manufacturing environment with exposure to:
  • Heat and warm processing areas
  • Production equipment and machinery
  • Food ingredients, allergens, and cleaning chemicals
