Job Summary
This role will include, but not limited to programming & operating the robotic welder to ensure quality & production goals are met. The robotic welding department is growing and looking for someone to help lead and facilitate its growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Programming robotic welder for new weldments and sub weldments
· Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
· Loading and unloading of weld fixtures during part production
· Inspect welds for quality and make necessary adjustments
· Maintenance, ordering and cleaning of related equipment
· Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
· Design and build weld fixturing
· Fit up and weld parts when needed
· Ensure robotic welder is continually welding parts by scheduling out the day
Required Qualifications
· 2-3 Years of robotic welding experience
· Basic weld inspection knowledge
· Ability to lift 60 lbs.
· Flexibility to shift tasks as needed
· Ability to multitask, project manage and potentially manage people to accomplish production goals
Preferred Skills
· Understanding of how coordinate systems work
· Any programming experience
· Good mechanical abilities
