What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Project Manager position at Kannon Contracting, LLC?
Job Title: Field Project Manager
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Company: Kannon Contracting, LLC
Are you a "Get-It-Done" Hunter?
Kannon Contracting is a high-growth startup specializing in residential Property Management Turnovers and Restoration Buildback programs. We are looking for a self-motivated, high-energy Field Project Manager to lead our Oklahoma City operations.
This isn't a "sit behind a desk" job. This is a ground-floor opportunity for a leader who wants to help build something special, manage a scaling market, and share in the rewards of our growth.
The Mission
Your goal is simple but demanding: Drive the Oklahoma City market to consistent $150k–$200k monthly revenue while ensuring every project meets the "Kannon Standard." You will be the face of the company in the field, managing the bridge between our clients, our crews, and the office.
What You’ll Do Daily
• Command the Field: Perform daily/bi-daily walkthroughs of active projects to ensure quality control, safety, and timeline requirements. • The High-Stakes Bid: Scope out new projects and produce accurate estimates. You aren't simply measuring; you’re executing the bid for approval in a competitive market. • Drive Approvals & Completions: Aggressively follow up on client estimates to secure Approval and push jobs to Final Completion for timely invoicing. • Crew Management: Source, vet, and manage contractor crews for both occupied repairs and vacant turnovers. You are responsible for keeping the roster full of talent. • Client Relations: Maintain constant, professional communication with Property Managers, TPAs, and residents. • The "Punch List" Hero: Be willing to handle small handyman punch tasks on-site to ensure projects stay on time and under budget. • Market Growth: Constantly source new projects from existing clients to keep our crews busy and our revenue climbing. Requirements • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Xactimate and residential estimating is a must. • Experience: Deep familiarity with residential remodeling, property management turnovers, and construction. • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with SLA (Service Level Agreements) and working within TPA/Property Management workflows. • Communication: Exceptional oral and written skills. You must speak the language of a contractor on-site and an executive in the office. • Mobility: Must be comfortable working from your truck and various job sites. • Mindset: A "Hunter" attitude. You see problems as hurdles to jump, not excuses to stop. Compensation & Benefits We work hard, move fast, and reward those who help us build. • Base Salary Commissions: Earn a piece of every project you complete and collect on time and on margin. • Resources: Monitored company credit card for project spend and fuel. • Time Off: 10 days of PTO per year plus paid holidays (available after 90 days). • Growth: Ground-floor entry with a direct path to Senior-level market leadership and responsibility. To Apply If you are ready to stop being a "cog in the machine" and start leading a market, we want to hear from you.
