TITLE: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
REPORTS TO: Director
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Board-certified behavior analyst as certified
by the BACB.
Requires a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis or related fields.
Prefers at least 2 years of experience as a BCBA.
Requires expert knowledge of intervention practices, data collection methods, behavior change strategies and supports, knowledge of the functional behavior analysis and behavior intervention practices.
EVALUATIONS: Conducted on an annual basis in accordance with
Cooperative guidelines

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
To excel in this role, the individual must meet the following key responsibilities:
- Serve as team member with special education teachers, staff, and administrators.
- Attend IEP, eligibility, or other meetings as necessary and provide related behavioral information.
- Co–treat with other related service providers.
- Work with students who exhibit maladaptive/unexpected behaviors and provide support and professional learning for staff who work with such students.
- Conduct and Develop Functional Behavior Assessments.
- Develop/ update Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with school staff and families
- Provide professional development to staff and parents.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.
- Communicate with families.
- Participate in the professional learning community.
- Grow and develop professionally.
Additional Responsibilities
- Completes certification in a restraint procedure.
- Consults with Member Districts to provide support with students.
- Provides professional development for staff and families.
