Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and fostering their development. You will create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Looking for someone interested in growing their career and becoming a co-lead teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide a variety of learning experiences through play, art, music, and other activities
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in children
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to support each child's individual needs
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders
- Implement classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior
- Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants or aides
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a CDA or Associates Degree or Education credits preferred. We will help you earn your CDA.
- Previous experience working with toddlers
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred

The job includes curriculum planning, assessment, parent communications. Must love the outdoors and be willing to help coordinate our garden program.
