We are seeking a motivated, highly organized Hiring Manager to support recruiting, onboarding, workforce readiness, and compliance for our Delivery Service Partner operation. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. During slower hiring periods, this position will actively support operations by driving and delivering packages while upholding the highest standards of safety and delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring

  • Manage end-to-end hiring for Delivery Associates, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and hiring decisions
  • Maintain hiring pipelines to ensure staffing levels meet operational needs
  • Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and hiring compliance requirements
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with candidates throughout the hiring process

Orientation & Onboarding

  • Lead new-hire orientations and onboarding sessions
  • Ensure all new employees complete required training
  • Prepare onboarding materials and maintain accurate employee records
  • Partner with operations leadership to ensure new hires are route-ready

Operational Support (Required)

  • Drive delivery routes and deliver packages during slow hiring seasons or as business needs require
  • Demonstrate excellent driving skills and consistently safe driving behavior
  • Maintain outstanding delivery quality, customer service, and route performance
  • Follow all safety, driving, and delivery standards at all times
  • Serve as a role model for delivery associates by demonstrating best-in-class safety and delivery practices

Administrative, Compliance & Organizational Duties

  • Track hiring metrics and onboarding progress
  • Maintain organized digital and physical employee files
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation, tracking, and communication
  • Navigate and manage multiple software platforms simultaneously (ATS, Client systems, scheduling, HR tools)
  • Support audits by gathering, organizing, and maintaining required compliance documentation, including but not limited to:
  • I-9 employment eligibility forms and supporting documents
  • New-hire onboarding checklists
  • Background check and drug test confirmations
  • Training completion records and certifications
  • Ride-along documentation and performance sign-offs
  • Safety training logs and attendance records
  • Driver qualification files and license records
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, current, and readily accessible for internal reviews and client audits
  • Proactively identify staffing gaps and recruitment needs
  • Support leadership with special projects and operational initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent driving skills with a proven record of safe driving and strong delivery performance
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Comfortable driving a delivery van and working in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous recruiting, HR, onboarding, or compliance experience
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse, or delivery operations
  • Familiarity with DSP operations and audit processes (strong plus)

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
