What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Impressions Ambassador position at Kanes Furniture LLC?
- Receives and screens telephone calls. Operates switchboard to transfer calls.
- Answers routine questions or directs them to appropriate personnel.
- Records and relays messages.
- Performs various clerical tasks including correspondence, approvals, and miscellaneous documents required for account processing.
- Completes weekly department ordering functions.
- Receives, opens, and distributes mail daily.
- Assists with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
- Maintains the Kane’s professional reputation.
- Assists and supports department personnel.
- Coordinates activities with related departments and obtains or conveys information as needed.
- Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
- Attends and participates in meetings as required.
- Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of business service functions.
- Knowledge of computer applications including MS Office 365.
- Previous reception and/or customer service-related experience.
- Strong typing abilities.
- Excellent phone skills.
- Effective communication and public relations skills.
- Well organized and attentive to detail.
- Willing to cooperate with and assist others.
- Ability to operate a switchboard and multitask.
- Able to use PC, printer, phones, and basic business equipment.
