A manufacturing leader is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support plant operations and drive process improvements across a high-volume facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, cross-functional work, and contributing to efficiency, quality, and reliability throughout production.
What You’ll Do
• Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, equipment, tooling, and fixtures
• Evaluate and optimize production processes to reduce waste and enhance efficiency
• Provide engineering support for equipment installation, troubleshooting, and reliability efforts
• Develop and maintain drawings, process documentation, and SOPs
• Partner with maintenance, production, and quality teams to solve operational issues
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• Recommend equipment upgrades and improvements to reduce downtime
• Support commissioning, testing, and new product/process integration
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Solid understanding of machine design, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment
• Experience with FMEA, RCA, Lean, or CI tools
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, or industrial electrical systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• PE/EIT preferred but not required
• Willing to participate in occasional on-call rotation
Work Environment
• Office and manufacturing floor
• Requires standard PPE and ability to stand, walk, or climb as needed
• Monday–Friday, day shift
