The Kane County Cougars are seeking fast-paced, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Concessions Team as Runners. As a Concessions Runner, you'll play a vital behind-the-scenes role by keeping our concession stands stocked and running efficiently during games and events. This is a great opportunity to work in a fun, high-energy sports environment and be part of a team that delivers an unforgettable fan experience!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Transport food, beverages, and supplies between the main commissary and concession stands.
Restock concession items quickly and accurately during peak game times.
Assist with set-up and breakdown of concession stands before and after events.
Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to the Concessions Manager.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and workspaces.
Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times.
Support concession staff as needed with light prep, trash removal, or equipment transport.
Assist cashiers in filling orders in a timely and courteous manner.
Let Cooks and Manager know when food levels are low.
Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bending, reaching, and lifting; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
Must be punctual, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Previous experience in food service, warehouse, or event support a plus.
Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Cougars season.
