- Record, classify, and reconcile all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate general ledger accounting in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to verify account accuracy
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal records
- Support budgeting activities by analyzing financial data and preparing detailed reports for management review
- Maintain meticulous records of account analysis, account reconciliation, and financial report writing to support audit readiness and transparency
- Proficiency in popular accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles and financial concepts
- Experience with public accounting practices or corporate accounting environments
- Knowledge of governmental or non-profit accounting standards is a plus
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and balance sheet analysis accurately
- Familiarity with GAAP guidelines and technical accounting procedures
- Excellent skills in bank reconciliation, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable management, and payroll processing
- Competence in financial report writing and account analysis for strategic decision-making
- Strong organizational skills including 10 key typing proficiency for data entry tasks
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
