Direct Support Professional On Call Position

We are seeking a friendly, ON CALL Direct Support Professional to provide support to four individuals in a home setting. The major responsibilities for this position will include transportation, scheduling, communication, planning, personal care, and reporting. Hours of the position will be evenings or weekends filling in for vacations or illnesses.
Qualifications
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· Punctual with good attendance, reliable and trustworthy.
· Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
· Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
· Positive demeanor and temperament.
· Patience in all tasks.
· Basic Computer Knowledge and Microsoft Word skills.
· Compassion and understanding.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
· Access to a vehicle in good working condition, a valid WI driver’s license, an acceptable, driving record and proof of vehicle insurance.
· Be able to work independently and exercise good judgment.
· Must be able to pass a caregiver background check and drug test.
· Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities
