Role Description
We’re hiring a full-time SEO Content Manager to join our team in San Diego (hybrid). This role will own the planning, creation, and optimization of content across multiple client accounts, with a clear focus on performance.
You won’t just be writing/editing content. You’ll be responsible for building content strategies that rank, convert, and support broader marketing goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting keyword research,
- Managing SEO content projects,
- Plan and manage content calendars and production workflows
- Write SEO Content for a couple of hand-picked clients
- Edit and proofread SEO content created by our greater writing team
- Optimize existing content for rankings and conversions
- Manage and mentor freelance writers and content contributors
- Collaborate with SEO, Paid Media, and design teams
- Track performance and adjust strategy based on data
Qualifications
- Expertise in SEO strategy (keyword research and on-page optimization)
- Proficiency in content creation and management, including copywriting, blogging, and editing
- Proven ability to collaborate with a team while managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Familiarity with eCommerce, digital marketing best practices, and conversion rate optimization is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Compensation
- Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (DOE)
