Role Description
This is a contractor role for an Accountant & Bookkeeper at Kanbar Digital, LLC, working only on Mondays and Thursdays. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and P&L management tasks for the company. The position is located in San Diego, CA, with the option for some work from home.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client invoices via Quickbooks.com
- Oversee contractor expenses and invoices through Bill.com
- Handle employee payroll and onboarding via Gusto.com
- Administer employee benefit programs using Gusto.com
- Prepare P&L statements and other financial documents
- Collaborate with our CPA to provide the necessary documents for taxes
- Address finance and labor-related queries for employees in CA and TX
- Manage and track credit card expenses
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Quickbooks, Bill.com, and Gusto
- Strong understanding of financial statements and tax regulations
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and contractors
- Familiarity with finance and labor laws in CA is a plus
Hours & Compensation:
- Schedule:
- Monday (In-Office): 10am-2pm
- Monthly compensation: $1,000 - $1,500 (depending on experience and hours)
