About the Role:
Kanawha Valley Veterinary Emergency Hospital is looking for compassionate and dedicated Client Service Representatives (CSRs) to join our team in South Charleston, WV.
The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding customer service to the clients of the emergency hospital. The CSR answers the phone, differentiates between urgent and emergency cases, greets clients, admits and checks out patients, processes payments, manages client financial information, and communicates information between clients and the medical team.

The CSR position is well suited for someone who enjoys working with a diverse group of people, and is caring, friendly, organized, and efficient. CSRs are the face of our hospital to the public and are responsible for creating a warm and welcoming impression, and remaining professional and courteous while handling multiple tasks with many interruptions.

Requirements:
- high school diploma or GED
- previous customer service experience which could include serving, reception, etc.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working in a high-stress emergency environment with urgency and composure
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in an emergency hospital setting
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift animals or equipment as needed
- Candidates with previous customer service experience in other veterinary, medical, or similar offices will be competitive applicants for this position
