Senior Nutrition Cook
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Nutrition Cook to join our team! The position will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking for seniors age 60 and up. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a background in the food industry.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following a set menu for approximately 60 seniors.
- Supervise kitchen aide.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Stock food that is delivered and monitor food inventory levels.
- Place weekly orders with Nutrition Manager.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures.
- Experience cooking for groups is preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Food Handlers Certification a plus.
