Kanawha Scales & Systems, LLC is seeking a Service Coordinator to support our Pennsylvania operations, based in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating service activities, supporting field technicians, and ensuring a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position serves as a key support function for the Service Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Field incoming service-related phone calls and efficiently schedule technicians
- Coordinate service work, preventative maintenance contracts, and call-out schedules
- Provide customers with friendly, professional support
- Proactively notify customers to maintain service schedules
- Ensure accurate pricing and job ticket information for timely invoicing
- Order parts and manage shipping and receiving activities
- Maintain accurate records, including ISO documentation, vehicle maintenance, and training records
- Support service operations as backup to the Service Manager
Qualifications & Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven initiative and positive attitude
- Highly dependable and reliable
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Basic computer and software proficiency
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Position Type & Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, grasp, handle, or operate tools and equipment. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
