Elementary Math Instructional Planning (Grades K-5)
Eligibility
• Must be an employee of Kanawha County Schools
• Must be certified Elementary teacher for grades K-5 and full-time employee
of Kanawha County Schools.
• Preference will be given to teachers who are familiar with the Elementary padlet, Test Authoring (Grades 3-5), the WVCCR Standards, Mathematical Habits of Mind knowledge, Canva and Powerpoint. Extensive technology skills we be used during these sessions.

Responsibilities:
(July 22nd (Grades K-2)) - Full day
(July 23rd and 24th (Grades 3-5)) - Full day
Compensation
• The Selection Committee members will be compensated $150 per day (K-2 (one day), Grades 3-5 (two days) upon project completion.
• Selections to the committee will be made by the K-12 Mathematics Curriculum Specialist.

- 4 Grade 1 Teachers
- 4 Grade 2 Teachers

- 4 Grade 5 Teachers
Responsibilities:
- Review the existing padlet resources & Math & You lesson presentations for specific grade level and update/edit accordingly.
- Review end of year exit information from county-wide teacher survey to discuss next year's mathematics implementation.
- Attend scheduled meeting -
