Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner or PA to join our healthcare team in Altamonte Springs. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, medical histories, and physical examinations using advanced clinical techniques.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across diverse specialties such as emergency medicine, primary care, geriatrics, pediatrics, and hospital medicine.
- Administer injections, medications, and treatments following aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory tests, radiology orders, and other clinical investigations; interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Provide patient education on health coaching, medication management, pain control strategies—including botulinum toxin treatments—and preventive care.
- Assist in triage processes in urgent care or emergency settings; prioritize patient needs based on severity and urgency.
- Support clinical research initiatives by collecting data, maintaining compliance with NCQA standards, and participating in clinical trials when applicable.
- Execute procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including cardiac catheterization), spinal taps, and neonatal ventilator management as needed.
- Collaborate with hospital teams on discharge planning, post-acute care coordination, hospice & palliative medicine services, and infection control protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience working in hospital environments such as Level I or Level II trauma centers; ICU or PICU experience highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems including Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms; telehealth experience is a plus.
- Strong background in acute care settings such as emergency rooms or urgent care clinics; familiarity with ventilator management and airway procedures required.
- Experience with medical coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for procedures like dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols and infection control practices essential for managing complex cases.
- Prior involvement in clinical research or clinical trials demonstrating data collection skills and adherence to research protocols preferred.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
