We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Professional to expand our presence within the Recreational Vehicle (RV) industry in the Elkhart, Indiana territory. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting customers with value-added product solutions.  The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth with RV manufacturers, OEMs, and key suppliers throughout the nation's leading RV manufacturing region.

Position Summary

The Sales Professional will be responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, and strengthening relationships with recreational vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. This role requires a consultative sales approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to understand customer needs and provide effective product solutions.  This is a field-based position requiring regular customer visits within the Elkhart market and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the RV manufacturing industry
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with RV manufacturers, OEMs, purchasing teams, engineers, and production personnel
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for expanded business
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and business reviews
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing recommendations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service, order fulfillment, and project support
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity within the RV industry
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities within CRM systems
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote Kanak Exports and generate new business
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and territory reports

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of successful business-to-business sales experience
• Experience selling to manufacturers, OEMs, or industrial customers
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a sales territory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Elkhart territory

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with recreational vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, or OEM customers
• Existing relationships within the Elkhart RV manufacturing community
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes
• Strong consultative selling and account management skills
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop long-term business partnerships
• Experience working with imported products, materials, or global supply chains is a plus
