Duties
- Perform meat wrapping tasks with precision, ensuring optimal yield and presentation of products.
- Operate various meat processing equipment safely and efficiently, following all OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP protocols and company policies.
- Package finished products for distribution while ensuring proper labeling and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols within the food processing plant to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food handling or similar roles within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge or willingness to learn of sanitation practices, HACCP principles, and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes in a food production setting is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
