Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail oriented Engineering Operations Manager to join our team. In this role you will support the Engineering department with everyday tasks that are big and small. If you are someone that likes to create systems and keep things organized we welcome you to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities
Installs
- Review installs a week out to ensure construction complies with code/lender compliant regulations.
- Review installs against current inventory to ensure install match plans to avoid PAA changes.
- Make sure current plans are available and being used for the current install by checking what’s uploaded in the CRM and what was last sent out to PM.
- Follow up and track reroof work to ensure no changes to the roof was done. Retrieve photos and send to the engineering team for layout rereview
- Follow up with tree trimming for production analysis before installation. Retrieve photos and send to the engineering team for shading analysis review
- Follow up and track roof adjustment work. Retrieve photos and send to the engineering team for layout review
Pre Engineering/Post Engineering Reviews
- Review survey photos to ensure the site conforms to lender compliant standards.
- Review the CRM post engineering to make sure a job is ready to go to plansets
Document Keeping
- Manage and Update the engineering contact sheet to ensure all contact information is up to date and readily accessible.
- Maintain and organize document equipment data sheet in folders for easy reference.
- Obtain design requirements on all new banks and ensure any updates are properly recorded.
Engineering Support
- Be the point of contact for sales reps wanting updates on their project
- Follow up with sales reps on layout change approvals
- Take delivery of all engineering email tickets and input them in the spreadsheet tracker
- Send finalized layouts to reps for review
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical field.
- 0-2 Years of Experience
- Understanding of the Solar design process.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting complex concepts clearly.
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Able to problem solve and research solutions
- Solar layouts, AutoCAD, Aurora preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
