We are currently looking for a motivated, charismatic, and organized Full-Time Dental Treatment and Financial Coordinator to serve as the critical bridge between our clinical recommendations and our patients' financial commitments.
Position Overview
As our Treatment and Financial Coordinator, you will be the face and voice of our front office operations. Your primary focus will be presenting comprehensive treatment plans, navigating dental insurance benefits, and establishing comfortable financial arrangements. The ideal candidate has a warm, confident personality, a deep understanding of dental billing, and a proven track record of helping patients say "yes" to their oral health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Treatment Presentation: Present clinical treatment plans clearly, answer patient questions, and highlight the value of recommended care.
- Financial Arrangements: Discuss payment options, establish payment schedules, and coordinate third-party financing (e.g., CareCredit).
- Insurance Navigation: Verify PPO insurance benefits, calculate accurate patient co-pays, and submit clean dental claims.
- Accounts Receivable: Monitor aging reports, manage patient accounts, follow up on unpaid claims, and process daily deposits.
- Schedule Management: Utilize Eaglesoft reports to track pending treatment plans and fill the hygiene and doctor schedules efficiently.
- Patient Hospitality: Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out, and maintain a seamless, positive office flow.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental front office or as a dental coordinator.
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency with Eaglesoft dental practice management software is highly preferred.
- Insurance Expertise: Strong, functional knowledge of dental codes, PPO insurance breakdown, and coordination of benefits.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to discuss money comfortably and empathetically.
- Attributes: High attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
Schedule & Location
- Job Type: Full-Time (Approx. 32 hours per week)
- Days: Monday – Thursday
- Location: Pinole, CA (On-site)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour (Dependent on experience).
