Role Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Owatonna, MN location. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing custom automated equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in project management. Day-to-day tasks may include machine design, creating and reviewing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings, conducting research and development, and ensuring that project timelines and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design, with the ability to create innovative and efficient solutions for automation systems
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for creating and reviewing technical drawings
- Familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) processes to develop and improve products
- Strong Project Management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in manufacturing or automation industries is a plus
