Role Description The Purchasing/Supply Chain Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role that can be based in Kamo's headquarters in Augusta, GA or in it's Columbia, SC branch.
Starting salary: 45,000 depending upon experience, benefits after 90 days.
This role is responsible for managing purchasing activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining vendor relationships. The coordinator monitors inventory levels, reconciles stock discrepancies, and collaborates with operations to ensure product availability and timely replenishment. Daily tasks include reviewing usage reports, analyzing purchasing data, updating item and vendor information, and communicating with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues. The role also supports continuous improvement in supply chain processes, assists with cost-control initiatives, and helps maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with vendors, internal teams, and healthcare clients.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret inventory, purchasing, and usage data and support data-driven decisions.
- Experience with Operations Management to coordinate purchasing, logistics, and supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management, including monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar tools, and ability to work with ERP or inventory management systems and utilize AI technology to advance efficiencies and increase cost savings.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in purchasing, supply chain, analytics and technology.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
