Sales Specialist

JOB FUNCTION:

Maintain good relationships with existing customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 80% of time spent on below responsibilities

· Minor model new model support.

· M/P design change window and contact.

· Contact person for various customers, handle purchase orders, and service accounts.

· Approve and/or oversee, develop, maintain, audit in Plex for KNA.

· Communicate with Customer R&D, and assist if prototyping activity.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 20% of time spent on additional responsibilities

· Issue KIN notices for important communication items.

· Control and Tracking Sales in Prototyping Activities

· Set Up Parts into Plex

· Approve BOM to Activate

· Support IMDS.

· Support to Create Sales & Purchasing Budget for KNA

· Support Sales Manager

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION:

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time

· Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc

· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

· Frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

A B.S. degree in business or related field or five years’ previous sales or similar experience required. Cost estimating experience required and automotive background a plus. Supervisory experience in related field is required. Bi-lingual language preferred English and Japanese.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to read part blueprints.

· Basic understanding of sales and purchase methods.

· Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints

· Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills

· Ability to establish credibility and be decisive

· Good verbal, written and presentation skills

· Willingness to travel while possessing a valid driver’s license

· Ability to obtain a US passport or eligible to work at US

· Computer (Excel, Word, and Power Point) skills required

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
