Parts Handler
Summary: Ensures that product is delivered throughout the Value Stream in order to meet manufacturing and customer requirements. Works under the direction of the Value Stream Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the flow of production parts between various departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules - moves, scans, and counts parts.
- Delivers parts to production areas.
- May work in other areas on routine tasks as needed.
- Identifies problem areas. Reports issues to Sr. Production Control Analyst or Value Stream Manager.
- Maintains clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and processes. Reports safety incidents to supervisor.
- Makes recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contributes to 5S program in work area.
- Provides a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment.

Necessary Skills:
- Self-starter; ability to work with minimal supervision
- Teamwork; ability to communicate well with all functional areas
Physical Demands:
- Frequent (70-80%) lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent mental and visual attention.
