Packaging Technician I

Responsibilities:
Reviews work instructions from blueprints
Sets up and operates marking, labeling and packaging machines
Runs first piece for inspection, once approved run entire order marking parts
Confirms part counts
Bags / boxes / labels parts as required by orders
May perform some basic assembly
May paint finished parts
Proficient in 2 or more marking/labeling/packaging processes
Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor.
Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to 5S program in work area.
Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.
Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training/learning other positions. Accomplish related results as needed
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- 0-1 years of experience in manufacturing production environment.
- Basic mathematics.
- Able to read and follow visual instructions.
