Kamas Carquest is seeking a reliable and experienced delivery driver/retail sales associate to join our team. As a retail sales associate, you will be required to do light cleaning, count inventory, answer phones, and assist customers. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be the face of our company to our customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to various locations in the Wasatch and Summit County areas. If you have excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you! Schedule:
Thursday-Friday 9 AM - 6 PM
Saturday 8 AM - 5 PM
Sunday - 9 AM-3 PM
Monday 9 AM-6 PM
Responsibilities:
-Answer phones with professional phone etiquette.
-Help assist customers with any questions or needs, along with ringing them, or issuing returns.
- Safely operate the delivery vehicles that will be provided
- Load and unload goods and products from the vehicle
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately, in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and while on the counter
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in vehicles and in the store
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Bilingual is not required, but preferred.
Experience:
- Familiarity with delivery routes in the local areas is a plus (Wasatch and Summit Counties)
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations
- Strong time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading
