Kaman's Art Shoppes is hiring a Fabrication Assembly Technician to work at our Corporate Office Location.
Fabrication Assembly Technician
Part time-20-30 hrs/week
Full Time: 30 - 40hrs/week (vacation and benefits)
Pay starts at $20.50 per hour.
Are you self-motivated, detail oriented, and creative? Do you enjoy working with your hands and take pride in attention to detail? Most craft work experience is applicable. We are looking for talented and inspired candidates who are focused on teamwork and task completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project finish work involves hands on painting, assembly, and craftsmanship.
- Assemble display parts generated and cut on a CNC machine.
- Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered by Fabrication manager.
- Assist Fabrication Manager on daily tasks determined each day.
- Maintaining and organized and clean work area.
- Wrapping, packing, loading and unloading materials deliveries and/or elements for installation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high quality of work.
- Minimum carpentry and painting skills a plus, will train.
