Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, taking X-rays, and providing chairside support.
- Maintain strict infection control standards, adhering to all HIPAA guidelines and ensuring the clinic remains a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Participate in pediatric dentistry, helping to make dental visits enjoyable and comfortable for young patients.
- Utilize Eaglesoft systems to manage patient records, schedules, and billing.
- Support medical imaging procedures, such as panoramic X-rays and intraoral cameras.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care, including assisting with patient education and communication.
- Perform general dentistry procedures, such as suctioning and mixing dental materials.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude, contributing to a welcoming and respectful clinic environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a dental assisting program or certification as a Dental Assistant.
- Experience in a dental clinic, preferably in pediatric dentistry.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft systems and dental clinic software.
- Strong knowledge of infection control and HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient care and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages.
