Description
1. Flight & Cargo Coordination
Schedule and coordinate cargo flights, crew assignments, and aircraft availability.
Ensure accurate cargo manifests, weight and balance, and required documentation.
Communicate with ground operations to manage cargo loading, fueling, and turnaround times.
Monitor special cargo requirements (e.g., hazardous materials, live animals, temperature-sensitive goods) to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
2. Communication & Compliance
Serve as the main contact between flight crews, maintenance, and operations teams.
Monitor flights, address delays or diversions, and provide real-time status updates.
Promptly notify departments and customers of flight status, delays, or schedule changes.
Ensure compliance with FAA, safety, and airport regulations.
3. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate flight records, cargo logs, and operational reports in JetInsight.
Track operation performance and assist with audits or compliance checks.
Provide daily updates to management and customers on flight and cargo status.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Duties and Requirements
o Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and use a computer.
o Must possess a complete understanding of the freight operations with the ability to act as a point person.
o High level of own initiative, motivation to participate in further training and knowledge transfer, interest in knowledge management and experience of innovative problem solutions.
o High level of excellent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree Logisitics or equivalent field.
o 2 years of experience in plant operations, with experience in the cargo, aviation or logistics sector preferred.
o Knowledge of aviation industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety practices is a plus.
o Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
