Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily office operations, including administrative support and clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Coordinate scheduling and calendar management for team meetings, appointments, and events to ensure optimal time utilization
- Support vendor management by liaising with suppliers, service providers, and contractors to maintain effective relationships and ensure timely delivery of services
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, and directing calls efficiently
- Assist in human resources functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and supporting training & development initiatives
- Support office budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll processes using tools like QuickBooks to ensure accurate financial recordkeeping
- Organize company events and meetings through event planning activities that boost team engagement and morale
- Supervise administrative staff when applicable, providing guidance on office procedures and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Promote the business around the community
Skills
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong clerical skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, vendors, and visitors
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in scheduling, filing, and recordkeeping
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software for bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Knowledge of human resources practices including onboarding, training & development, and employee relations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with event planning and vendor management to coordinate company functions smoothly
- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems, calendar management tools, and basic office technology
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
