About the Role:


The Sales Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the sales department by ensuring seamless communication and coordination between sales teams, clients, and internal departments. This position is responsible for managing sales orders, tracking sales activities, and facilitating efficient workflow to meet company sales targets. The Sales Coordinator will work closely with outside sales representatives to provide timely information and resolve any issues that may arise during the sales process. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Ultimately, the Sales Coordinator contributes to the overall success of the sales department by enabling smooth operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Proven experience as a Sales Coordinator or in a similar sales support role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong multitasking abilities and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support outside sales activities.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with sales accounting and order management systems.

  • Familiarity with outside sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) software.

  • Previous experience in a sales department within a similar industry.

  • Additional training or certification in sales or business administration.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and contribute to sales strategy development.


Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate daily sales activities and support the sales team to ensure timely processing of sales orders.

  • Communicate effectively with outside sales representatives, customers, and internal departments to resolve inquiries and issues.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and update sales accounting information using Microsoft Office products and other relevant software.

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including scheduling, order tracking, and reporting, while adapting to a flexible work schedule.

  • Assist in preparing sales reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making within the sales department.

The required skills such as multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment are essential for managing the dynamic nature of sales operations and ensuring timely order processing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products enables the Sales Coordinator to efficiently handle sales documentation, reporting, and communication tasks. Knowledge of sales accounting supports accurate tracking of sales transactions and financial records. The ability to work a flexible schedule allows the coordinator to align with outside sales representatives and customer needs effectively. Preferred skills like familiarity with CRM software and sales strategy analysis enhance the coordinator's capability to contribute to broader sales goals and improve overall department performance.
