About the Role:
The Assistant General Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager to ensure the seamless operation of the hotel or hospitality establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities across departments to maintain high standards of service, safety, and operational efficiency. The Assistant General Manager contributes to strategic planning, including pre-opening activities and yield management, to maximize profitability and guest satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel or hospitality management roles.
- Proven knowledge of hotel operations, including food and beverage management and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in identifying and resolving operational issues.
- Familiarity with yield management and cost control techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pre-opening hotel projects or new property launches.
- Certification in hospitality management or related professional credentials.
- Advanced knowledge of hospitality software and property management systems.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a multi-departmental hospitality environment.
