What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stone Production Manager position at Kalven Group Of LLC?
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years in stone, granite, quartz, or solid-surface fabrication, or closely related manufacturing
- 3 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Hands-on CNC and stone fabrication equipment experience, including reading CNC job files and shop drawings
- A proven record of reducing cost and waste, with numbers to back it up
- Strong math skills (square footage, yield and scrap percentages, labor cost, basic budgeting)
- Experience training employees and working with SOPs
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards, especially silica
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets and shop management software
- Highly organized and effective both leading a team and working independently
PREFERRED
- Degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or operations
- Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S training
- Slab layout/nesting software and digital templating experience
- ERP or production tracking system experience
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese
