What are the responsibilities and job description for the Partnership Associate position at Kalshi?
Kalshi is defining a new category
Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history. Kalshi is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.
We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.
Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet.
Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.
Building a new category is hard… like really hard. But it’s beautiful and deeply fulfilling. Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.
Role Roadmap
As a Partnership Valuation & Strategy Associate, you’ll help shape how Kalshi identifies, evaluates, and structures its most impactful external partnerships. You’ll build the financial models that determine the value of these relationships, guide pricing and commercial strategy, and support negotiations with clear, data-driven insights. You’ll also contribute to the creative side of partnerships, helping design concepts, pitches, and narratives that strengthen Kalshi’s brand and expand our reach. You’ll play a key role in how we prioritize opportunities, deploy resources, and grow the next generation of Kalshi’s markets.
What You’ll Do
Build valuation models to assess partnership opportunities of all sizes — from major leagues and media networks to creators, influencers, and niche content partners — including forecasting, scenario analysis, and pricing frameworks
Develop commercial structures that maximize long-term ROI and align with Kalshi’s market strategy across a wide range of partnership types
Analyze partner performance across high-scale deals and smaller, experimental collaborations; present insights that inform prioritization and strategic decision-making
Support outreach and negotiations by preparing pitch materials, deal memos, and financial justifications tailored to partners ranging from large institutions to individual creators
Collaborate cross-functionally across Partnerships, Strategic Finance, Product, and Growth to define goals and evaluate opportunities across sports, media, fintech, entertainment, and the creator ecosystem
Conduct industry and competitive research to identify high-value partners across leagues, publishers, rights holders, media brands, influencers, and creator networks
Maintain accurate tracking of partnership pipelines and ensure clean, reliable data across internal systems for deals of varying complexity
Contribute to go-to-market strategy by translating analytical findings into clear narratives, recommendations, and materials for both small-scale partnerships and large flagship collaborations
What You Bring
2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, strategy consulting, strategic finance, or a valuation-heavy partnerships role
Strong analytical capabilities and advanced financial modeling skills (Excel/Google Sheets)
Experience evaluating deals, pricing structures, or commercial agreements
Ability to clearly communicate complex financial insights to both technical and non-technical teams
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities
Curiosity and creativity, plus interest in both the analytical and storytelling sides of partnerships
Bonus: Experience in fintech, marketplaces, exchanges, entertainment, sports, or media partnerships
Bonus: Interest in financial innovation and the evolution of event-based markets
