Job Title: 1099 Plumbing & Maintenance Technician
Pay: $28–$31 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA & surrounding areas
Kals Plumbing & General Contracting LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Plumbing/Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. We service residential customers, property management companies, warranty companies, and general contracting projects throughout the Pittsburgh area.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of plumbing, maintenance, or related service experience
- Experience diagnosing and completing common residential plumbing repairs
- Comfortable with toilets, faucets, drains, water heaters, leaks, shut-off valves, basic maintenance repairs, etc.
- Must have your own tools
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Professional appearance and good customer-service skills
- Able to properly document work performed, including photos and job notes
- Must communicate with dispatch/management regarding job status, additional work needed, or customer concerns
