About the Role:
As Kalmbach Feeds continues to grow, we are expanding our Utility team to support our busy warehouse operations. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility. In this role, you will assist with general material handling, support multiple departments, and help ensure our warehouse remains efficient and well-maintained. Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with general warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, material movement, staging, sorting, and palletizing
- Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, mopping, clearing damaged bags, breaking down cardboard, managing trash/recycling, and operating the sweeper/scrubber
- Support production and packaging teams with material handling and restock supplies as needed
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts) once trained
- Follow all safety procedures and report any damaged materials, equipment issues, or safety concerns
- Provide flexible support to multiple departments based on daily operational needs
