What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Project Manager position at Kalmbach Feeds Inc?
Technical Project Manager (Systems & Infrastructure)
The Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Technical Project Manager to lead our most critical growth initiatives. This isn't a "status report" role; it is a "mission control" position. You will be responsible for navigating the complexity of our expanding technical landscape—ensuring that our software, data systems, and physical operations work in perfect harmony. Whether you are overseeing a large-scale ERP integration, merging disparate software platforms, or bringing new facilities online, you will be the primary driver of execution and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of complex technical projects, including scoping, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and "Go-Live" execution.
- System Integration & Interoperability: Oversee the merging and connecting of software programs to ensure seamless data flow across the organization.
- Infrastructure Rollouts: Coordinate the technical requirements for bringing new plants and facilities online, including networking, hardware deployment, and local systems setup.
- ERP Strategy: Lead updates or integrations of our Enterprise Resource Planning systems, ensuring business continuity and data integrity.
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Act as the lead "translator" between executive stakeholders and technical teams (Engineering, IT, and Operations).
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement technical solutions to automate manual workflows and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
What We’re Looking For
- Technical Versatility: You have a strong grasp of both software (APIs, SDLC, Data Migration) and hardware/infrastructure (Networking, IoT, Facility Setup).
- The "Navigator" Mindset: You excel at managing moving parts and can identify a technical dependency before it becomes a delay.
- Leadership Presence: You are comfortable guiding diverse teams and making high-stakes decisions under tight deadlines.
- Experience: A proven track record of managing enterprise-level projects (e.g., ERP rollouts, system mergers, or facility commissioning).
Why Join Us?
- High-Impact Work: You will lead the projects that define our operational future and global impact.
- Professional Growth: We are committed to providing the resources and environment for you to reach the next level of your career.
- Collaborative Culture: Join a team that values innovative ideas, diverse perspectives, and a "get it done" attitude.
