What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse, Forklift Operator, and Shelf Stocker position at Kalix?
We're looking for someone available to work the following required schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Additional hours may also be available based on business needs and availability.
Under the direction of the Director of Vocational Services, or designee, the duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Unload trucks.
2. Separate cases for counting.
3. Sort and segregate cases by contractor, vendor, aisle, and display items.
4. Place product on and pull from warehouse shelves.
5. Put away dairy, freezer and dry groceries.
6. Break down cardboard boxes to be flat.
7. Clean as needed, to include spot clean if something breaks in the warehouse, empty the warehouse trash if it is full, sweep the warehouse floor at the end of the shift. There is some periodic cleaning, which may include dusting and/or mopping.
8. All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Ability to lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds and bend, reach and grasp items.
2. Ability to drive forklift, prime movers, electric pallet jack, high lifter.
3. Successful completion of forklift training.
4. Ability to compare and match numbers.
5. Ability to determine if employer standards have been met for cleanliness.
Salary : $36,773 - $49,623
